FAQ

Where do you have your sessions?

At a location of your choosing. I'll have you pick a place that holds meaning to your family. (a place you all like to go to as a family, family property, or a place that represents your family) I also have a handy location sheet if you need a little inspiration.

What should I wear?

Comfort and confidence are key! Wear what you feel good in!

If you want the neutrals, go neutral. If you, want the splash of color or you, love a pattern go for it! I would suggest avoiding neon colors as they can be reflective. If you hold a color, up under your chin and you get a reflection of that color it may show up in your photos. I would say to, stay away from tiny patterns, thin stripes, or tiny squares (mainly on men's collar shirts). They cause a moiré effect in photos that can be distracting.

Overall, if you love, the way you look your happiness will shine through.

What time of day are your sessions?

I generally like to shoot an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset. Lighting is key in photography. If those times do not work for your family we can work out a time later in the afternoon.

Do you charge extra for more people?

It depends.

If your family unit is larger than average, no. Each family is unique. I would say, if your family consists of more people maybe go up in what package you want. More faces and bodies to pose will need extra time for photos.

If you have other family members or units joining (ex. grandparents, children spouses and their children, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) then yes. Each additional family unit is an extra $50 and individuals are an extra $10.

What do you mean by all edited photos?

After I upload all your photos, I cull them. I go through each one of your photos and I pick the best. Those photos are the ones I'll edit and send your way. I tend to deliver a lot of photos. I almost always go over the approximate value. They are your memories after all.

How are the photos delivered? Download or print options?

I'll send you a link to your private online gallery via email. From there you are free to download all the photos and print them off wherever you would like. If high-quality prints are what you are looking for you can hit the little shopping bag icon on your photo, and from there you will see options for individual prints, wall art, cards & albums.

How do you accept payment?

I'll send you an invoice you could either, pay with credit/debit online or cash on the day of.

If you would like a payment plan just let me know and we can set up online payments.

What if the location doesn't have a place to change outfits?

No worries! I have a pop-up changing tent I'll bring along and a cart to carry along your belongings.
